Redistribution of Responsibilities in WAFIOS Executive Board

After 7 years of successful collaboration, WAFIOS AG and Dr. Christoph Müller-Mederer, Member of the Executive Board and responsible for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finances, have mutually agreed to go separate ways.

The Supervisory Board thanks Dr. Müller-Mederer for his extraordinary commitment and his numerous strategic achievements, such as the foundation of our subsidiaries in China and Mexico, the planning and implementation of our Customer Center and the refinancing of WAFIOS AG at favorable terms.

Dr. Müller-Mederer made a decisive contribution to the positive development of the WAFIOS Group's sales and profits and helped to consolidate and strengthen the company's worldwide leading position in the market for wire and tube bending machines.

The Supervisory Board wishes Dr. Müller-Mederer all the best and every success for his private and professional future.

Responsibilities for WAFIOS Business Divisions will be redistributed among the two Members of the Executive Board, Dr. Uwe-Peter Weigmann and Martin Holder, as follows:

Dr. Uwe-Peter Weigmann will be responsible for Technology, Sales, Customer Service, Finances, Human Resources, the Customer Center and the subsidiaries WSM (China), WMC (USA), WMX (Mexico), and WTA (Simonswald);

Martin Holder will be responsible for Production, Procurement, Logistics, IT, Organization, Job Controlling, Quality, the Tool Center and the subsidiaries WdB (Brazil) and WZP (China).
